Charlie the Fearless and Tancho the Brave’
Two brothers, Charlie and Tancho, live an adventurous life, playing and learning as they go. While Charlie isn’t scared of anything, his brother is a little nervous and reluctant to go fast on his bike or reach too high on the climbing frame. But through a series of events, the two realise that real fearlessness comes from supporting each other.
Beautifully illustrated by Sarah-Leigh Wills, this is a thoughtful and entertaining story by Suhmayah Banda, showing how courage is about being there for one another and appreciating each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
A delightful book that explores notions of masculinity and social norms in an entertaining way.
